Tana was born and raised in Caruthersville, MO where she was in church from birth till 12 years of age in the Baptist Church. Transitioning at that time to the Church of God, it was her desire to attend Lee College in Cleveland, TN. Realizing that dream, she moved to Nashville, TN where she sang with such groups as The Brooks Singers The Blackwood Singers, The Downing's and Higher Ground. After “getting off the road”, she worked with Christian Records companies such as The Benson Company and CBS Records Gospel label, Priority Records. In 1983 she moved to Baton Rouge, LA to head up The Promotion Department for Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in addition to singing with the Crusade Team for a year. While In Baton Rouge, she experienced several mission trips including a 2-month trip to India, which is a highlight in her life. Along with her husband, she is passionate to build a New Testament church with true worship and develop “each person a leader.”
